Chrome Beta

Chrome Beta for Android

Chrome Beta is a preview build of Google’s Chrome browser for Android. It is intended for people who want to try browser changes before they reach the standard Chrome release and are comfortable with occasional rough edges. The app can be used alongside an existing Chrome installation, making it suitable for testing without replacing the regular browser.

What it is used for

The main purpose of Chrome Beta is early access and feedback. Users can explore upcoming Chrome features, check how changes behave on their devices, and report their experience to help shape later releases. It is a practical choice for testers, developers, and curious users who prefer seeing new browser work ahead of the wider rollout.

Because this is a beta channel rather than the primary stable browser release, it suits users who place value on preview access and feedback over a completely settled experience. If you only need a dependable everyday browser and do not want to evaluate changes early, the standard Chrome app may be a better fit.
