Google Slides

Presentation editing on Android

Google Slides is a mobile presentation editor for creating, revising and presenting slide decks from an Android phone or tablet. It suits students, office teams and anyone who needs to make changes away from a desktop. The app supports shared editing, comments and presentation work across devices, making it useful when several people contribute to the same file.

What it supports

• Create new presentations or edit existing decks with text, images and slide layouts.
• Work with other people in the same presentation through shared access and comments.
• Open, edit and save Microsoft PowerPoint files, which helps when files move between different office suites.
• Continue making changes without an active connection, then update the shared copy when access returns.
• Present slides from the mobile app, including transitions into Google Meet sessions where supported.

Best suited to

Slides is a practical choice for collaborative assignments, meeting decks, class presentations and routine business updates. Its mobile interface keeps common editing controls available without requiring a full desktop setup. More complex formatting and animation work may still be easier on the web version, especially for users building highly detailed presentations.
