YouTube TV: Live TV & more

Live television without a cable box

YouTube TV: Live TV & more is a streaming television service for viewers who want live broadcast, cable, sports, news and lifestyle channels in one app. It is aimed at households replacing a traditional TV package, as well as viewers who want access across phones, tablets, computers and supported television devices. Availability is nationwide in the United States.

Channels, sports and local programming

The service includes more than 100 networks, with selections that can include CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, TNT, AMC, HGTV, Food Network, Nickelodeon and other broadcast, entertainment, news, sports and children’s channels. Local sports and news availability depends on the user’s location. NFL Sunday Ticket is also associated with the service for eligible out-of-market Sunday games.

DVR and household profiles

YouTube TV includes cloud DVR functionality without a stated storage-space limit in the supplied service details. Recordings are kept for nine months. A household can use up to six accounts, allowing separate logins, recommendations and DVR libraries rather than combining every viewer’s activity in one profile.
